Can I register an LLC or Corporation in the US without a Social Security Number (SSN)?
- Yes. A Social Security Number (SSN) is not required when Registering an LLC or Corporation in the US.
What documents do you need from me to register an LLC or Corporation in the US?
- No documents are needed. We simply need you to answer 10-15 questions pertaining to your business.
- We will also need you to sign an IRS document so that we can obtain the EIN number for you.
I heard that I need an EIN number when I register a US LLC or Corporation. Is that correct?
- Yes, after registering an LLC or Corporation in the US you will need to then obtain an EIN number. This is included in our LLC and Corporation registration packages.
- The EIN number is something that we can obtain for you even if you don’t have a social security number. Most other online business registration companies do not offer this service unless you have a Social Security Number.
Does it matter what country I live in?
- No, the US doesn’t impose restrictions on LLC and Corporations based on where you live.
Will this help me open up a bank account in the US?
- Opening a bank account in the US has become increasingly difficult unless you are able to physically come to the US bank in person.
- HOWEVER, there are now many credible online banks that will allow you to open a US bank account without coming to the US.
- These online banks will provide you with a US bank account number, US routing number, and even a debit card.
- These online banks will require that you provide them with proof that you have an LLC or Corporation and will require that you provide them with an EIN number and operating agreement or Bylaws. All of this is included in the business registration package designed for international entrepreneurs.
